Honestly, I've stopped buying plain edges. If it's not sprayed with a design, it's either Libby or ebook for me. (Unless it's from BOTM or Aardvark.) I'm currently debating about Quicksilver... I'm hoping someone would come out with an exclusive edition though.

Sometimes I read a book and find it so "meh" that I don't even want to waste energy or effort logging it on Storygraph... I think certain tropes are just not my thing anymore but I keep on trying. I need to just let it go already. 📚💙

I'm so sad there's no more criminal intentions. I binged two seasons over one weekend and my eyes hurt. That series is sooo good.

I'm really liking Duet Night Abyss so far, but a couple of their characters remind me of WuWa resonators. Rebecca -> Cantarella, Truffle & FIlbert -> Verina, Lisbell -> Encore. To be fair, they aren't extremely similar, it's just their vibes.

I cancelled LL-FW. However, I was also notified that I'm finally off Fairyloot's waitlist so I'm now subscribed to Fairyloot. I get four skips a year. I'll see how that goes.

That's a bummer.

I got so invested that I was getting so angry for the injustice that MC is facing that I had to stop reading. I'm waiting for the next books to come out before continuing.

It was okay. The MC felt like an unreliable narrator for a while. The horror aspect is light imo tbh, and it just felt like a mystery/thriller to me. 😂

It kind of stresses me out when a book starts out with a whole ass dictionary. Exaggeration, of course, but you know what I mean?! I appreciate the pages of terminology & glossary, but this is a lot.

It was good. It was good... until page 166 when one of the FMC did what she has been repeatedly told NOT to do. That is one of my pet peeves — people who don't fucking listen.💢 I get it, if they don't act stupid, the book would end. I just wish authors could make books work without having their characters act like this.

I have this, and I LOVE it. To not be locked to one store is just a huge plus for me, especially since Amazon does not allow downloading of purchased books anymore. I've since sold my Kindle Oasis.
