It is not like authoritarians impress with their inventiveness. On the other hand, they don't have to.
It seem that Trump can pardon those that in the administration that the supreme court finds in contempt and reinstate them. Doesn't this mean that in practice, he is unchecked? And as long as his crazy minions does what he tells them, he is a dictator?

Because he is actually acting above the law, ignoring federal judges, explicitly there to rein in the executive power.
I just realized that while Trumps erratic behaviour might benefit Putin, the russian leadership cannot sleep well.
He is obviously an asset, but also extremely fickle and not all powerful. Russia have to trust someone that can't be trusted. But Ukraine soon doesn't. Makes me feel a little better.
So Dems..I am not asking you to make AOC the next president right now. That's Buttigieg. But you need to realize that she is the future. Start making room and adjustments.
