Like a lot of us I have my students fill out bios before class starts. I have my 1Ls as their last question tell me their walk-out song, and my music-nerd kid #2 and I listen to the songs the night before class starts. It’s a fun weird house tradition!
My youngest just tried to insult me by reminding me of how cringe it is to be an elder millennial like me but my child I was born in 1972.

I was an only child and my parents (who had high school degrees) got by on … two incomes (my father worked full-time during the day and worked nights as a security guard). My grandmother and aunt paid for a lot of my dance lessons.
