Following the cleanup activities to remove contaminated sediments and soil, the Port plans to restore habitat by creating off‐channel marsh and shoreline habitat for fish and wildlife.

During a brief window from mid-December through mid-January, this fleet comes home to Seattle where they find all the parts and services they need to keep their vessels running smoothly throughout the grueling 11-month North Pacific fishing season.
