You forgot the indigenous fighters. Without their leadership and fighting power the battles would have ended very quickly and Canada would be part of the USA.

Curious how this might be framed using nonviolent communication (NVC) bc “feeling ignored” is not technically a “feeling” so much as a projection onto others and hence a personally disempowering act or just passive aggression.
Is the feeling really as sweeping as “fear”? And the need?

The Liberals were dragged kicking and screaming to dental care by the NDP who had to threaten non-confidence to force the initial implementation. Therefore I do not believe this election promise. It is just a typical Liberal strategy.

Poker Face. I’m liking this series on CBC Gem. It is very well thought out. EG: While the lead character is taste testing bits of wood (yes) the music changes for the different species. Little details like that knit it all together.

A little inspiration. Get the word out: there are antidotes to both the active destruction of and the ineffectiveness of our state institutions.

Video: Doug Ford says his support of Donald Trump is unwavering CityNews reporter Cynthia Mulligan spoke with former city councillor and longtime conservative Doug Ford about Republican U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump

Just a reminder to my Ontario friends, Big Dougie is not the person to be in power right now.

All of his “Canada Is Not For Sale” bluster is campaign rhetoric for the Feb. 27 election.

If he gets another majority, he’ll bow to Melon Mussolini in 2 minutes.

Trump is a symptom. The difference this time around compared to last time is: this time there is an actual plan and the organization and money to implement it. Trump doesn’t plan. He can’t. He is all intuition (if I am to be polite about it). Democracy is bad for oligarchs.

A growing number of websites and FB groups list Canadian products and companies. Here're some that I know of: 8/n

#BuyCanadian #MadeInCanada #Canada

13) Yukon : www.yukonbuilt.com and yukon.ca/en/yukon-grown

This is not an exhaustive list. But it's a start

Start with the precursor ingredients (not the same as fentanyl’s).
- Certify political parties (what would you require?)
- Define and limit the role of PM so power stops concentrating.
- Write down the assumptions, principles, and precedents (like supremacy of parliament).

Pondering the tariffs question. I suspect the motives are less to do with threatening Mexico and Canada and more to do with bringing USA’s own corporate oligarchs to heel. For example, I suspect the auto industry execs are busy pledging allegiance and money to Trump. The rest of us chase our tails.
