I'll be singing, playing pitch shifted guitar and whatnot in Coventry with @linesofsilence.com in September. We've been creating a brand new extended set, with new material. 🎵 🎛

Mixing begins with Ian... the time of day, the speakers all make a difference in my ears. I take good time on this step. I'm arranging not just the instrumentation but also the building mood.

Back in the studio again with the incredible Ian Flynn in London to record my 2nd single. Studio days are intense but also a supreme highlight of my year. 💛✨️🎛 Loads of layering on this next track, months on this song trying to find its sweet points. I am the band, it was like a gig load in!

Today marks one year since the release of "Every Loss." Finally, I'm able to work on the rest of the demos! Come to The Shoegaze Cafe Manchester on Sat 31 May and you can hear me perform this song (if I can remember the chords 🤭).

Thank you! I've been so swept up in other non musical "life admin" things, sadly taking me away from music at the moment. But it was really good to slow down, and write this piece, I do truly miss feature writing.

Delighted that David Sylvian is here. Highly influenced by his work since my teenage years, very lucky to have met him in the mid 90s. A recent interview where he described his writing process (lining up tracks to find patterns) was mindblowing and utterly influential on my own music. 💙
