My first and definitely last time working with the Los Angeles Times. Editing out the most urgent point of an OpEd in the minutes before sending to press while then also assigning a title and image that suggest an argument entirely opposite to the author’s clear intent is pretty shitty.

He has a brown tool belt with a wrench and a yellow pouch. He has brown boots with blue laces. Just so you know, I drew this several years ago, before I knew about the doc martin lace code. His blue laces don't have anything to do with that. His boots aren't doc martins. This has to do with pramary color accents. Red goggles, yellow pouch, and blue laces. (However, if anyone asked him about his laces in that context, he would probably say 'yes' and then come up with an exaggerated, fantastical tale for it that you know isn't true, but he's a pretty decent storyteller.) He's just a nice boy who makes sure that the spaceship engine is in tip top shape. He's very bright for his age and can also be a bit mischievous.
