tragically i was tempted to argue this point but a glance at this persons profile shows they've been copy pasting this same response to all kinds of posts so you're either a bot or just kind of strange.

i do fear that any mainstream company is going to be forced to bend the knee eventually, at least things like stoat are self hostable but most people are still likely relying on company servers for it.

Of course, studying is in of itself a learned skill (and one that could be a whole discussion) and you will make progress either way, but even if you're creating frequently not pushing your boundaries as an artist and getting complacent in what you make will make you learn much slower.

I think it's often very true that the only way to get better at art is to draw every day, but I think it's also forgotten that you should be devoting at least part of your time to drawing with the ACTIVE intent to learn rather than expecting to just get better. You'll improve much faster that way.

i'd argue one of the biggest losses of the ai era is not only ai artwork in of itself but also making it so the most single celled amoebas of internet posters you've ever seen can now going around calling perfectly normal art ai for zero reason.
