🚨House Republicans just passed a bill that would disenfranchise 70 million married American women.

Under the SAVE Act, women who took their spouse’s last name and don't have an updated passport or birth certificate would be turned away at the polls.

At least this Republican Congressman from Kentucky is being honest. That for him representative democracy is dead. He doesn’t seem to care about wrecking the livelihoods of Kentuckians. His job is to do for his dictator in Washington, DC. His only constituent.

My 2.5 year old has been hitting me with the “Guess what?!”, followed by “Chicken Bottom!”.

The best time for Senator Schumer and Representative Jeffries to step down from their roles in leadership was immediately after Democrats lost the House, Senate, White House and the popular vote in November, which hadn’t happened in 20 years. The second best time for them to step down would be right now, after allowing Republicans to run over them in budget negotiations. As Republicans hold a trifecta, it was their Party’s responsibility to pass a budget and get the votes to keep the government running, not the Democratic Party. Yet, under the leadership of both Representative Jeffries and Senator Schumer, Democrats are yet again being pushed around by Republicans, which will result in working class Americans being harmed by the Republican Party’s budget. As I travel this country, I hear from people and overwhelmingly, working class Americans are growing frustrated with the feeble leadership of the Democratic Party. People want an end to the billionaire influence over our politics, universal healthcare, tuition-free college, living wages, housing for all, making corporations and the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share of taxes, and a political party that fights for these things. It’s time for, not just a change in leadership, but a new direction.

Trump Republicans hate the Department of Ed for the same reasons they hate education. They view education as a waste of funds since it exposes their fraud and prevents their abuse of American minds through their outlets of disinformation. Trump Republicans want a country of believers, not thinkers.

Republicans are going to learn that hitting their opponents on the economy means they have to deliver on the economy while they’re in power.

It’s not looking good.

The state of the union?

Homelessness has risen by record numbers two years in a row.

U.S. Park Service Strikes Transgender References From Stonewall Website The “T” was removed in references to L.G.B.T.Q.+ on the official site for the Greenwich Village monument, which marks a milestone in the fight for gay rights. Later, the Q+ also disappeared.

The National Park Service removed references to transgender people from its Stonewall National Monument web pages because of Trump.
