House Minority Leader Jeffries voting with the GOP in favor of this resolution is showing his ultra-wealthy donors exactly who he fights for.

It’s not the people.

However, the arguments against DEI are rooted in anti-Blackness and that needs to be called out.

That’s why it’s so important to stand against the erosion of DEI, it’s a stand against anti-Blackness.

Now think that way about every profession.

Does that mean that Black people have been the primary beneficiaries of DEI? No. White women have benefited the most.



Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier made MLB more diverse. He wasn’t there because of his skin color, he was excluded because of it. Prior to DEI in Major League Baseball, the league was comprised of the best white players, not the best players in the country.

We need to reject the urge to simply stand against bad policies, fighting back looks like advocating FOR the people.

People STILL need healthcare, tuition-free college, student debt cancellation, fair representation at all levels of government, clean air and water, etc.

This doesn’t mean he will lose, he has AIPAC backing him.

It means that you cannot lead the Democratic Party to failure without a political consequence.

It’s that dire.

Nothing progressive will pass the House with Congressman Jeffries leading the House. Nothing.

Congressional Democrats still have lower approval ratings than their GOP counterparts.

He has failed as leader and will not give up his leadership role.

Primary him.

We are boycotting Target because the company went back on its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

If the company wants to bring customers back, they should bring back DEI programs.

Doing everything BUT the right thing.

We’re just a few months away from Black History Month.

Every year, people say we don’t need a Black history month, but this shows that we do.

There are people who are erasing our history, we won’t back down.

Primaries are always a good idea because democracy is good.

If Leader Jeffries faces a primary challenge from a progressive, every progressive in office should get on board.

His leadership helped led to a historic, unacceptable defeat in November ‘24 after taking millions from AIPAC.

It’s very clear that he and I disagree on this, it makes assumptions that we cannot afford to make.

But I will give credit to the fact that he’s the first person to address the issue of Black representation head-on.

Historically, this has proven disastrous for Black Americans.

This moment, like every moment before, is time for unrelenting, unwavering truth and democratic principles.

We must not allow authoritarian forces to break our own commitment to representative democracy.

The working class of all backgrounds must organize for the good.

Fighting back is organizing in those impacted areas, not giving up and having a blue state add 2 seats.

A seat in another state cannot replace representation in a red state.

The only way to fight authoritarianism is to organize the people impacted by bad policy.

If you don’t have the people on your side, you have nothing.

This doesn’t address the success Indiana had by simply organizing and not throwing folks in GOP states to the wolves.

Who is fighting for marginalized communities in red states in this scenario? No one. It’s wrong.

Working class Americans from all backgrounds are sick and tired of spineless politicians playing the blame game for inaction.

That goes for Democrats *and* Republicans.

People can’t afford things and it’s only going to get worse.
