This is classic CDN media misrepresentation.
What went down at Christie Pits wasn't two sides of the same issue.
This was a hate rally demanding mass deportations against people who live in Toronto. It was a fascist hate gathering.
They were countered by people standing up for their neighbours.
“CBC, stop giving Pierre Poilievre unchecked airtime. Fact-check, demand answers—don’t be a microphone for propaganda. Journalism exists to hold leaders accountable and report facts.”

Parents aren’t blaming teachers; they’re blaming Danielle Smith. And they’re right to do so:
Alberta is the richest province in Canada, yet we spend the least per student. That’s not an accident. That’s a choice.
Let's stand with teachers and stand up for public education.
The bird is a black and white relative of the crow that excels at opportunistic feeding.
It will eat anything out of anybody’s trash can.
It will even follow coyotes to carrion and then barge in.
To understand Alberta’s chaos-making premier, consider the magpie, writes Andrew Nikiforuk. 🐦

He is holding a bottle labeled "Untaxed Whiskey, 20¢ Gal." in one hand and a piece of cloth labeled "War-Taxed Common Cloth, Tariff 84%" in the other. Above the counter, a sign reads, "If you don’t see what you want, ask for it." The cartoon, signed by W.A. Rogers, appears to satirize the Republican Party's economic policies, highlighting the disparity in taxation between luxury items like whiskey and essential goods like cloth.
In 1890, the Tariff Act came into place in the United States. It placed tariffs on imports of up to 50%.
While touted as a way to build American industry, there was also the hope it would force an annexation of Canada. It backfired.
Let's learn more.

If you take Canadian oil out of the equation, Canada actually has a trade deficit, and the U.S. has a surplus — of $58 billion.
We supply cheap oil to the USA to ensure North American energy independence, so North America can never again be held hostage by OPEC countries.

I’m thinking of perhaps creating one for each province and the territories (13 in all) and making a calendar.
Calling All Canadians: If it says made in the USA, put it back. Buy Canadian. Our Canadian workers and farmers are going to need our support. Pass it on.
~Essentially, avoid buying products made in the US. Instead, buy from other countries if unavailable here.
Sorry to our American friends. We should not support the destruction of your beautiful country nor all the bigotry and racism from Trump.
