Sad to see this, he's an absolute legend. Hopefully he gets a send off somehow..
Every year, an Iran-backed march of incitement and hatred parades through the streets of London, a liberal and tolerant city that I call home. It's organized by the IHRC, based near where I live. It's too close to home. And the UK has failed to deal with it

Randomly came across Iron Maiden this morning. And spent the rest of the day with them on in the background... forgot how much I like them.

There should be outrage about this, like there was with ISIS and the Taliban.
I dare say, there will still probably be more outrage than the loss of life, which speaks for itself..
Disappointing response from the government to a petition with more than 22,000 signatories calling to fund vouchers for people with coeliac disease. The price of gluten-free food is extortionate, this isn't an unreasonable ask. The reply is v dismissive

Thoughts are with Michigan's Jewish community tonight. How awful
Where can Jews pray in the world, without the threat of being murdered? I would say Israel is a safe place, but even there, there is the risk of attack, rockets, massacres. Is it really too much to ask, to leave Jews alone for a bit?
In 2017 I covered Al-Quds Day.
I heard the terror chanting. I saw the Hezbollah flags with a pathetic note of clarification about support for its political wing. I saw stewards censoring journalists.
This should have been banned years ago.

Following news that the UK has banned Al-Quds Day march, some thoughts about the long-running failure to properly address Iran’s malign influence in the UK - and the very real risk that poses.

If Spurs do get relegated, appointing Igor Tudor, someone clearly out of his depth and who doesn't really care if the club has long term success, no emotional attachment to the club, will surely be the most expensive managerial mistake in history?
Not watching this Spurs game as I don't have TNT, but it sounds like a disaster....
Kinský subbed off inside 20 minutes, Spurs 4-0 down. It's easy to pile in and revel in Spurs being shit, but you gotta feel for the keeper, on a human level. Karius levels of humiliation

Think there also needs to be a serious debate about where Bumrah sits as an all-timer. Across formats, he's one of the best, in my view. He does things nobody else can do. His numbers are phenomenal. He's the best bowler in one of the best teams, ever. Right up there for me
Very well played India. Politics aside, BCCI/ICC issues aside, this is a phenomenal cricket team. They would have a good chance of winning this World Cup wherever it was held I fancy. Having 100,000+ fans and the weight of a billion people carries them further at home though.
