The horror comic I was working on last year, Becky's Bells with the uber talented writer, Joe Ranoia is part of this anthology on Kickstarter. The comic is based on a nightmare I had (and then Joe polished it and made it better) 😏☠️👻

Some changes are happening to El Llorón (but later on). So much so, the story has been split into 2 parts 😏

Once I finish up majority of commissions as well as most of chapter 2, I will resume publishing El Llorón.

At midnight tonight, the last 4pgs from chapter 1 of El Llorón will be up on my Substack and Tumblr. After that, there will be a temporary hiatus as I work on chapter 2.

The final pages are scheduled for Feb 13 and after that, there will be a temporary break as I continue to work on chapter 2 (so far I have about 34pgs done). Once I finish all commissions, I will schedule the finished pages while I work on the rest. I appreciate your support of this comic 💜💜

Chimalli's mask was originally inspired by Rey Mysterio but as I was redesigning it, I really like how Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix masks are so I played around 😗🎨💭

Currently redesigning Chimalli's mask while sticking to the original design. His mask was always supposed to represent Quetzalcoatl since he was a Mesoamérican god and Chimalli wanted to pay homage to his Mexican roots.

Some have been wondering where Chimalli got those injuries from the last sketch (the morning after their first time)...and so here it is (⁠๑⁠•⁠﹏⁠•⁠)

The name of the 2nd model (with the ribbons) is Natalie Eddy (and her outfits are so gorgeous) 😍😍

I used to dream of being a plus size fashion designer as a kid so I sometimes enjoy drawing my characters in beautiful clothes. I saw these on Pinterest and I drew Winnie wearing them in my journal...then I imagined Chimalli's reaction to seeing his beautiful gf in them 🤣

Chimalli, being the horn dog that he is can never get enough 😏

This is where this turns from romantic to funny 😆

La Lloróna is Nahua (and it's relevant to her backstory which I plan to write in the future).

His great-grandmother, La Lloróna was modeled after a real life luchadora from the 1950's, Magdalena Caballero (La Dama Enmascarada), during a time when women were banned from the ring alongside Irma Gonzalez. Since I wanted to make her plus size, I based her off Caballero 😏💪🏼✨

Just gonna leave this here for those asking about Chimalli's great-grandmother, the woman who started his family's roots in lucha libre in the comic.

Tomorrow, Jan 16, 2026, pages 56-60 will be up on Substack and Tumblr. From the last set of pages, some guy came over and tried to block Winnie x Chimalli's romantic moment so we'll see Chimalli's reaction 😏😏
