Had a great time at Barrel & Flow, the #1 beer festival in the country! Huge thanks to founder Day Bracey for creating an event that celebrates culture and brings business to Pittsburgh.

Spent National Night Out enjoying live music in the Mexican War Streets and joined Ms. Bailey & Councilwoman Kail-Smith in Sheraden. Caught up with friends in Carrick and ended the night in Homewood with Sam, the organizer, and other community members. Great night in Pittsburgh!

For National Night Out, I visited Brighton Heights’ bake sale at St. Cyril’s Church and Spring Gardens’ block party where I chatted with Michelle, the organizer, and grabbed some barbecue. Next, I joined residents in the Hill District for their community’s celebration.
