The first time I ever saw him on telly was on The 11 O'Clock Show in the late nineties. He was rambling stupid thoughts and the audience was loving it, but I was wondering why they'd just got someone off the street to speak his brains... it was only later that I realised *that's his act*.

They were the best fans I think I've ever seen at Kenilworth Road. They knew they were going down but they were absolutely determined to have fun anyway. The weather was *atrocious* too, so travelling from Yorkshire to Bedfordshire and back that night couldn't have been fun either.

One of the best thigns I've ever seen at a match was when Bradford City visited us in 2018-19. Their team was dire and got smashed 4-0, but the fans were brilliant. First shot on target was in the second half: "We've had a shot!" followed by "Let's pretend we scored a goal" and celebrating wildly.

Yeah, the end is inevitable when a club's own fans sing that. "Sack the board" is another one guaranteed to get the board to sack the manager instead.

Always sad to see a football manager being relieved of their job purely on the grounds that they're no bloody good at it.

Always appreciate it when this picture reappears of Cookie Monster writhing and screaming in agony after The One Show savagely pinned a poppy into his bare body.

Dunno who else has been watching the Brackley Town - Notts County cup tie, but I'm so pleased for Brackley. Never gave up, had all sorts of decisions go against them, and still won it on penalties. Hats off.

More than Ghostwatch, the finale of Paul Daniels: Live at Halloween 1987 scared the SHIT out of me as a kid.

The slam of the iron maiden, the horrifying silence, the voice of a floor manager asking everyone to leave. And then silent credits. Incredible television.

It's up there with the Ben Stiller Starsky & Hutch for me, a film that acknowledges the original and then takes the concept to new places rather than rehashing things.

I love this film. For me, the movie was better than the TV series.
