Looking over green fields the land drops away and rises to trees and buildings on the horizon. The sun is behind the photographer and the trees they are standing under cast curving shadows on the land. Some bare branches can be seen dipping down into the picture from above

Szenerie an einem grauen Wintermorgen. Auf dem Pfosten eines Zauns stehen getragene Kinderschuhe aus Leder, dünn von Schnee beflockt. Dahinter erkennt man unscharf ein Holzbrett, das zu einem stattlichen Baumhaus hinaufführt.

‚Pfade und Wege‘

Ein Holzsteg führt hinauf ins Baumhaus. Vielleicht wurden die Schuhe für die Kletterei ausgezogen und vergessen? Oder sie sind zu klein geworden und suchen einen neuen Besitzer.

Kam neulich auf dem Weg zur Arbeit daran vorbei.

The Statue of Liberty stands across Upper New York Bay from Red Hook, Brooklyn. The full moon has just begun to cross behind the statue's upraised torch. The colors of the sky shift in a gradient that evokes, for me at least, the colors of the sky in Hokusai's print of The Great Wave.Off Kanagawa.

The super moon known as the Cold Moon sets behind the Statue of Liberty. A gift from France, the figure commemorates independence from monarchy, abolition of slavery, and hospitality toward refugees. The work continues, so pick appropriate tasks and bear down. #photography #NYC #moon #Brooklyn

Sketchbook Seite Kuli und Buntstift, Muster aus breiten lila Linien mit großen Zwischenräumen verflochten. Grundstruktur sind fünf von einem Mittelpunkt leicht gedreht abgehende Linien, wodurch ein 3D Effekt entsteht. In den Zwischenräumen die hellblau colloriert sind ungleichmäßig verteilt grüne Blätter, 4 Spiralen und 3 fliegende Vögel und 1 Schnecke. Einige leere viereckige Zwischenräume sind weiß gelassen.

A Yellow Brain Fungus growing on a dead tree.The fungus has a striking, gelatinous, deep yellow color. Its fruiting body is irregularly shaped, highly lobed, and convoluted, resembling a tangled mass of brain-like folds or gelatinous leaves.

Eine Collage bestehend aus einer Reihe mit drei Fotos. Sie zeigen immer dasselbe dunkelgraue, zweiflügelige Sprossenfenster mit Segmentbogen und oberer Steineinfassung. Innen wurden zwei kleine Lichterketten-Kränzchen angebracht. In den Glasscheiben spiegelt sich das hinter der Fotografin befindliche Gebäude. Nur durch minimale Positionsänderung erscheint als Spiegelbild ein weißes Sprossenfenster. Dann wird das weiße Fenster nur noch im rechten Flügel gespiegelt und dafür im linken Flügel ein Stück Ziegelwand. Als drittes Spiegelbild zeigt sich eine zweiflügelige Tür mit Lichtausschnitt und Sprossen, die in einem größeren Fensterelement mit weißen Sprossen (ähnlich wie das Fenster der ersten Spiegelung) eingebaut ist.

Zwischen gestern und morgen,
zwischen dem, was war
und dem, was sein könnte,
liegen manchmal nur wenige Schritte.

(Und zwischen diesen drei variierenden Spiegelungen lagen auch nur wenige, kleine Schritte... ich konnte mich nicht entscheiden, deswegen gibt's […]

I'd love some advice from #pottery folk. I've switched from a brush-on glaze to dipped. It's working well, except for two problems:
