The earliest potential back-to-school date is now September 23rd, 2025. A minimum of 21% of our term, gone. Shame.

Meanwhile, the university has saved over $10 million since the lockout began - while students continue to face disruption to classes, research, and campus life.

This means the lockout will continue with no end in sight.

This decision comes after ongoing negotiations between the DFA and the administration, leaving students caught in the middle of the dispute.

No specific back-to-work policy has been agreed upon, but the DFA has expressed willingness to reduce it from to originally required 10 business days.

Majority of letters sent to Andy Fillmore, Halifax councillors in support of bike lanes - Halifax Examiner Only 27 letters sent to offices of mayor, council, and municipal clerk supported motion to pause construction of bike lanes.

I went through 658 pages of correspondence. Only 27 letters were in support of Fillmore's bike lane motion.

obsessed with this vague notice from the government of Nova Scotia. Like it’s definitely about the new fire restrictions, but it also looks like a poster you’d find yellowed and curled on the bulletin board of a diner in a town where locals won’t talk about their missing kids
