Chatted with #VWFC GM Axel Schuster prior to tonight's San Jose/Vancouver game. Asked him about Ryan Gauld's return and he said the player is optimistic that he'll be back in the next four weeks. I suspect it's not the first time Caps fans have heard something like this, but that's the latest.

Pretty quiet in here right now. Attendance is sparse as expected for a midweek against a team you have to be a bit of a footy connosieur to know of.

Hey #VWFC Supporters! Going into tonight’s match against Valour FC, how are the vibes?

I feel like in the Galaxy game, and the SDFC game, Jesper got his tactical choices deeply incorrect - the lack of midfield depth became a huge liability because beyond Seba and Cubas, the defensive responsibility tapers off quite a bit. We can’t play the same way without them in our midfield.

Methinks it’s time for the Caps’ annual summer tankathon, at the rate we’re going into the depths of the roster. Unfortunately FM25 got cancelled earlier this year, so all of my scouting’s a year out of date so transfer targets are a giant ? lol
