Also it has to be a sugar daddy site with that name, doesn't it? They're going to take all my wealthy elderly farmers!

Screenshot of a cartoon of a man with a red beard and a green flat cap, giving a wink beside a little heart. It reads "Welcome to Paddy Daddy. The dating app for people who fancy an Irish lad."

#SpéirGorm #SpéirGhorm #Ireland Same winking man, with the question "Who's your Paddy?" and "Now. Are you the charmer, or the charmed?" with the options "I'm an Irish lad" and "I'm looking for an Irish lad". A message that reads "You've officially swiped the whole island. Paddy O'Handsome must be off getting his beard oiled - try your luck later! ☘️"

Friend found an ad for this new dating app and am 98% confident this somehow counts as a hate crime on this, the feast week of our Lord and Saviour Saint Patrick

Yeeeup. Again, better late than never but when it feels like it's primarily for their own image once the tide has sufficiently turned, it's grating.

You can always help by supporting and boosting people on the ground doing the actual work and organising, you don't need to position yourself as a spokesperson as soon as you decide something is a low enough risk to your brand to speak out about it or get a photo for your socials.

No issue with people getting involved in causes late, everyone comes to this stuff in their own time, but irks a little when people who were in a position to say something are silent until it's professionally "safe" to speak and then use superficial involvement to bolster their own image or career.

Join me & @irishwildlifetrust.bsky.social for a pint and a chat about seed 🌱.

Its a rollercoaster ride from the Siberian permafrost & the Dead Sea, to Svalbard & Glasnevin. In our quest to save the Irish flora we will encounter heroes & villains, the Soviets, the Nazis & even Seamus Heaney!

Ciara's art is beautiful and she adds little gifts to your order. Now is always a good time to support Irish artists

Worried about the global economy? These prints do not need to be sent through any Strait to get to you and are safe from any shipping shenanigans, AND you can burn them for fuel when all our oil runs out ✨

Commanding the waves is Manannán Mac Lir - son of the sea, ancient warrior, powerful sea god, and member of the Tuatha Dé Danann in Irish mythology. Artist Ciaraíoch.

I’ve just ordered an A3 fine art print of Manannán Mac Lir as a gift for a new homeowner by the sea. There’s so much amazing art on www.ciaraioch.com it took me ages to choose ❤️ #SpéirGhorm
