Always fun to see some "citizen journalist" header giving out about Irish charities offering support to people in IPAS centres by repeatedly and furiously referring to the spending of "our tax dollars"

For the first time, literally every single minister has been listed for travel, as has the Ceann Comhairle and Attorney General.

In some previous years at least one minister had stayed at home.

The only holder of State office (other than the President) staying home is the Seanad Cathaoirleach.

They still go up, you just have to pay the difference - only the ones without a numbered value on them hold their value (N and W stamps). So you'll have to buy €0.55 stamps to add to the 2.95 ones to cover the cost every time, it's a pain.

It definitely works for the community and social aspect, just not for the work aspect for artists. But that's just the way things have gone.

It would defeat the purpose of what I use them for, i.e. getting work in front of as many eyeballs as possible. Having a newsletter helps with the rest, but paid platfroms just don't have the same reach as current ones at all, unless you're big or famous already.

Yeah I just spotted an interview the other day with the new TikTok CEO Adam Presser saying that they've changed the rules in terms of the word "zionist". If you're using it positively ("I'm a proud zionist") it's fine, but negatively ("they're a zionist 👎") it's classed as hate speech. Priorities 🙄

These are all platforms that artists were told to master in order to make their living sustainable, but nobody seemed interested in whether the platforms themselves were sustainable

Can't even stock up, the ones with prices on them stay at the value on them, you've to add the additional balance. Definitely stock up on N stamps though if you use them!
