Sales are nice but I'm not even sure if that's a criterion for me? Kaiju Table Battles sold very poorly but it did the things I wanted to do & I enjoyed making it. Hearing from people who were touched or moved by it was deeply gratifying. By those metrics, it's a success.

Because I'm prolific, people often assume I'm very organized & regimented about how I allocate my time to my projects. But that's not true. I can only do the thing I'm interested in at this moment. Learning to flow with that - to spend hours or days on something even if it's less urgent - was key.
