One of the greatest failings of our system of government is that it is not illegal for politicians to lie to the public.

I do believe with the benefit of historical hindsight & the speed of independent media that we are much better equipped at turning back authoritarian takeovers. It is not easy, but we are in a much better position to fight back against these attempts to illegitimately control the levers of power.

Where are the massively inspirational and motivational protest songs to fuel our mission, to drive our revolution?

Will former Defense Intelligence Agency chief Lt Gen Jeffrey Kruse be the next one to be very publicly searched by the FBI based on spurious charges from deep within the Tr*^p administration?

If Dan Bonguino is out as Deputy Director of the FBI, how long will it be before the FBI shows up to search his premises based on some “Tr*^ped Up” charges?

How ironic

How ironic is it that the root of racism was black slavery to harvest tobacco and cotton in the south. Today, use of tobacco is going away and cotton is harvested by machines but the racism continues to exist. It is very hard to kill racism and hatred of our fellow man.

From a disaster at lunch to the sublime at dinner. Carolota’s O Vinhaca was everything one could ask for. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and Carolota knew as much about her wines as any sommelier I have ever met. What a wonderful way to end the day.

Actually the couple we are traveling with paid the bill, but I think they are planning on protesting the charge.

Traveler beware. If you are in Lisbon at the marina, stay away from Doca Seis.

Food was ok. Service was poor. Prices were outrageous and they charged an illegal 30% service fee.
