This was hard to find! eBay helped but this was an import from Brazil as it’s near impossible to find in the U.S.

Three months today. I’ve made it ¼ of a year without Danielle. It’s surreal but getting easier, albeit very lonely. Friends and family have been very helpful as I move forward.

My nieces and nephews changed their costume ideas when they found out I was coming to spend Halloween with them. The family that plays Star Wars together stays together. I was so surprised when they all wanted to dress up similarly. I had so much fun! @thedarkempire.bsky.social #starwars

I have de-Halloweened my house. I always feel a little sad when it come to that point.

Fall decorations are still up, but it’s not the same. 👻

I won’t be too sad or sappy with this post, lest I fall into melancholy myself, but I merely want to wish my beloved a Happy Hallowversary!

Danielle and I would have been married 12 years today. I hope she’s out Trick-or-Treating in the great beyond.

Time has taken two more months from me without my darling Danielle.

I try to remember the good times and her infectious laughter, and that does help ease my pain, but the sorrow remains and the overwhelming feeling of loss washes over me nonetheless.

After six years of leftover autographs sitting in boxes, my sister-in-law and I finally got the last of them up. Thank you Christyn.

The decorating has begun!
I don’t care that it’s not (technically) fall yet. I’ve only started on the inside anyway. The exterior spooky stuff will wait until October first. 🍁👻

I go outside on my back porch to water my mosquito plants – the ones that are supposed to keep them away.

Yeah, they’re just buzzing around it and hanging on the leaves as if to say, “Wassup?”

This is the equivalent of them giving me the middle finger!

These two images are the first pictures ever taken of us and the last picture she ever sent me, and she was still smiling.

It's been one month since my beautiful wife's passing, and it still doesn't seem real.

I discovered some of the first emails we exchanged after meeting each other back in January 2005. Then we started dating in March of that same year, and the rest is glorious history.

I’m very sorry for your loss.
I’m coping with my grief as well due to a recent passing.

She’s home.

The funeral home called and told me Danielle was ready to come back to me.

I can’t believe almost a month has elapsed since she passed. It still doesn’t seem real.

She will stay with me for a couple of months and then she’ll travel to New Jersey to be interred next to her mother.

Okay, I just watched the new “Superman;” am I missing something? It’s not that good.

There’s too much campiness and unnecessary juvenile humour. I guess I was expecting something more serious.

I know it’s James Gunn but the other movies he did had some substance. This is missing a lot IMO.

We still enjoyed getting out, eating good food, watching bad movies, and laughing until we both ached. Even as her body began to deteriorate, the sharpness of her mind and wit remained heightened and she continued to live each day fully and without reservation.
