Diego Espíritu Chávez is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Spanish Language and Literature at the University at Buffalo, focusing on poetics and visual writing.

A Poet's Touch... "JUST BUFFALO", Allentown's popule poetry reading forum, featured the charismatic Anselm Hollo and placid Alice Notley at its first reading of the season two weeks ag0. Both were received warmly by an audience of devoted followers, numbering approxi- mately 75 by unofficial estimate of coordinator Debora Daley, who began the series four known far and wide [Hollo from New York and Finland, Notley from Rochester] but features local poets as well.
