I tried this one. It's great and it's bang on for flavour but I can't get a dome on it.

Looking for a solidly fluffy ginger molasses cookie recipe that doesn't fall flat or become chewy. I want dome structure that stays intact, moist without undercooked chewiness, and a light crust and crackle. The kind that gets rolled in sugar before baking. #christmas #xmas #baking

Also the recipe is definitely a smidge older than me, circa. Early 1980s Eagles brand (condensed milk) calendar 😂. Buts it's super simple layers with a graham crust, condensed milk, Choc chips, toffee bits, and peanuts. Baked and comes out chewy.

Toffee choc chip squares. My grandma made them every Christmas. When I graduated high school, she asked me what I wanted as a gift and all I wanted were toffee squares. She sent me home with some every time I visited for the holidays all 4 years of uni. Now I make them with my kids 🥰.

Also timely reminder that #colwood really needs improved cell service out in Royal Bay. With every power outage, the network gets overloaded fast and I can't even load the outage map from #bchydro or get a message out to someone who has power.

Worked pretty well. I wish threads would auto update in the same way but I think that'll be fixed soon (if that makes sense). Sometimes the refresh worked and other times it didn't. But overall, much better experience.

Ah, the Okanagan. I grew up there in West Kelowna before it was West Kelowna 😂.

I can only guess this means Budget Day won't be in February (and I think it's a fair guess). With previous changes to the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act, I *assume* it'll come later in March-April. Especially with so many new members to contend with.
