I sometimes see an American ask «why do you say we are a stupid people?». I know, it is an unfair generalization, and there are plenty of smart people in the US. I blame your political and education system, not stupidity. But you elected Trump. Twice. So there’s that.

A question for you #americans out there: Is what we are seeing a modern day fall of The Roman Empire, or just a minor set back that will be corrected? In other words - are we all fucked and needs to start learning Russian and Chinese in school? Or will you regain our trust?
