Undetstanding well your data is a key part of your analysis. It takes time. There are already too many papers out with poorly understood data that was run through a statistical model just to get a significant result. Adding llms to mix is just adding fuel to the fire.

It is not. I would bet they'll have to hire contractuals to babysit their AI pipeline anyways and end up with lower quality. It's sad to see they've moved from focusing on learning scientist to AI mass produce content.

maybe to devaluate labor? They sell their "everything solution", institutions hire less ppl for real jobs, they hire a chunk of the unemployed as contractual workers to fix all the issues their bots are causing. Now they control more the labor market. No job benefits, less rights and security...

I'm sorry to hear that. This situation is bad. I had the opportunity to work on this topic as an intern for a speech tech company. My impression after leaving was that the solutions were not going to come from within the industry. It has to be from academia.
