It was happening previously, including to the England football manager 16 years ago. I know because I was one of the journalists, but we weren't really shouting as we were able to get closer than they would do on Downing Street.
Was about to suggest Uniqlo too. I get their cardigans but their is an infuriating lack of colour options compared with the jumpers.

Grey Street and the area around is pretty intact apart from what was Swan House. The area east of Northumberland Street and around Newgate Street was the most affected by the 1969s development, but I vaguely remember that they managed to keep a Victorian arcade in the basement of Swan House.
We suggested a heat pump during a 2023 Reno but our builders thought it wouldn't work in our house as it wasn't insulated enough to make it efficient. Think they might have had out-of-date ideas about heat pumps but in the end we were happy with their suggestion to keep our 6-year-old boiler.
Intrigued about the reasons Chris Philp is seen as not being focused on the job in hand. I'm not a fan at all, but I had heard that the Tories believed him to have been effective in the Commons and the media. Any insights into why this has changed?
I think I might be thinking of the newer site. I don't remember the area before Eldon Garden.
I remember the Kard Bar but can't remember where it was. There was another vintage clothes shop called Attica on High Bridge. My friend's parents ran one in old Eldon Square too but I can't remember its name.
Oh that's great news! It used to be in Chinatown, right? I remember there used to be lots of great vintage clothes shops around High Bridge at one point.
I looked at the building and knew it was the Toon even before I saw the shop. Grainger Street?
I wonder if they were all out in Shepherds Bush that night!
Rare use of an oboe in a pop song #totp
I love the story behind You Got the Love, but this video is pants! #totp
That explains a lot! π
#totp you can tell the Gulf War of 1991 is on
I had that too! And I remember Jackie Brambles being on the cover. #totp
I do wonder where they get the dancers from. They always seem like an afterthought.
She also voiced one of the characters on the Raccoons.
I would agree, though Boogie Wonderland comes a closer second.
She did All Time High from Octopussy and I believe voiced a character in the Raccoons.
Ah, i wasn't around at the time. (Can only just say it mind!)
They seem to be on most weeks!
My Mum's disappointed about the closure of the cafe in her local M&S. Even though it's in a shed on a retail park, she visits every week, can have an affordable hot lunch while reading her newspaper. The staff who work there are lovely too, thankfully they have other jobs in the store now.
Looks like they have improved the visitors' lanyard since my last visit.
Is that the Houses of Parliament?
At the end she says, "Look there LL!"
Well chuffed because I have got tickets for Haute and Freddy at Bush Hall! Downside is it's the worst possible day of the year for me to go to a concert!
I'd genuinely forgotten about that although Newcastle was relegated the same year so I was probably more preoccupied with that. We came straight back too.
Great article on Primary School Bangers in the Guardian. Loved this line on the Glastonbury set: "As with Kneecap, the festival had to restrict entry to the packed field during his set. Unlike with Kneecap, the sunburnt crowd swayed amiably to Shine Jesus Shine." www.theguardian.com/music/2026/m...
