TORCAR is holding a driver conference regarding the playoff format, specifically the "win and you're in rule." The drivers are currently discussing the format and will eventually vote on whether the rule should remain or not.

Yellow and black seems to be the colour scheme for success on tracks like this. @spinoex.bsky.social and @kensethology.bsky.social lead the way nearing halfway, setting times far clear of the rest of the field.

Another driver who's had success here before is the #1 of @oshillex.bsky.social. They won the first ever race here back in S1 of Trucks, and then fought current race leader @spinoex.bsky.social for the win here in S2 (although that attempt didn't go quite so well).

The incredibly long straightaway leading up to the final few corners is a defining part of this venue, but unlike Tormula One, there's no DRS or ERS to make it interesting. @spinoex.bsky.social leads @kensethology.bsky.social and Daniel Mosteller to end lap 1.

It wasn't the start that polesitter @influencebyfanatic.bsky.social wanted, having traded places with former teammate @spinoex.bsky.social in terms of positions gained and lost. Furthermore, he has two very proficient road racers right on his bumper; but this time, he has the car to compete.

Things have calmed down up front as we reach the halfway point in the race. @spinoex.bsky.social holds a steady lead over @noahknight.bsky.social, but there's plenty of room for the running order to be shaken up with the impending pit stops.

not the result we wanted but it's talladega and it's a long season left to go, don't count us out yet. To respond to what happend on track I held my line and its the drivers job to go around me, I've lost races to lap cars so I'm not gonna pull over for them.
