Tried to squeeze a quick offline run in between work and raid, and hey look at that. 3rd PB, still very sloppy, especially in the endgame. May upload this one to YouTube though, it's probably the first time I've been comfy with a run so far.

After getting my 100% file completed I decided to hop right in with an offline first run. Super super fun route and I'm excited to do more

I haven't been sucked into a game this hard in forever. Actively losing entire days to it lol.

May let the brainworms win and learn the run after I finish exploring tbh

Finally got my m8s kill last night in pf. Excellent tier even if it went a little long for me. Really enjoyed it, looking forward to diving into ultimates soon 👀

Day 2. Fermentation is extremely active. Very happy so far, good to see the yeast are thriving in there

A carboy of freshly fermenting mead. The yeast has added a light layer of foam on top, and the color gets gradually darker as it descends. The carboy is sitting on a granite countertop and a red stand mixer can be seen behind the meas

Fermentation day. The hydrometer reading for this batch puts it at a max abv of 20%. The yeast I'm using only has a max of 18% so it likely won't get there but this might be my strongest yet

Bringing the mead to agdq probably

Some mason jars of a caramelized honey. The jars are nearly full of an extremely dark amber liquid with an inch or more of a brown foam on top.

The end result of a very long process. Four mason jars full of some of the tastiest shit I've ever made good damn. Letting it cool tonight and then starting the fermentation tomorrow!

Been about a year since my last batch of mead, so time for a new one. Working on caramelizing some honey for a bochet 👀

Jk, still negative but fuck I feel so much worse yesterday/today. I'm thinking this is just a cold since it's basically only in my sinuses but god it has laid me out

Feeling a lil better today. Still no positives for COVID and whatever this is definitely seems pretty mild. I'll take it, generic con crud is better than the alternative

Wuh-oh. Starting to feel pretty icky. All COVID tests I've taken so far have been negative post-SGDQ, so either I'm the best at getting false negatives or there was something else going around too.

There's been one game consistently on my mind since SGDQ and I'm starting to think it might be what I try and really get back into. I've messed around with the new things in the first level so far, and I think I'm getting the hang of things.

Finally getting around to playing ULTRAKILL. I was avoiding playing the game during early access because I knew it would be like plugging a dopamine machine directly into my brain.

I have so much to process after this event. Really going to be a lot of soil searching over the next week or two to make sense of my feelings after this event

No sleep tonight. We had to go directly from the finale to the airport, so to anyone I didn't get to see or say bye to, I'll definitely be there in the winter ready for more.

This event might really be the first chance I've ever gotten to be myself. Truly myself. And I want to explore that. I *want* to speedrun again. I *want* to get closer to the countless friends I've made over the years. This truly does mean the world to me and I want to give it a shot as the real me.

Every second I've spent in the speedrunning space up until this point has been a second I've spent as a shadow of who I actually am. School, transition, etc. these are all things I've done to learn more about myself and continue exploring life in my own way.
