I grew up in New York, about 35 miles from the Twin Towers. On September 11th, we could see the smoke from our town on Long Island. Even now, 24 years later, the memories of that day remain vivid. We still carry the weight of that day and honor the friends and family we lost. #September11th

Baseball players don’t dance…well that was always the case with transitional baseball, but not in Bananaland. The first step was to convince the players to dance, and that was not easy. Remember when Dollar Tree used to joke about price checking since everything was $1. Not anymore. First everything went up to $1.25 and now it depends on the item.

If you haven't tried these before, Dr. Grip has been my favorite for years. I still have my original set including mechanical pencil version (no longer sold). The grips were originally designed for people with arthritis, but they’re wonderful for folks with motor skill needs or in my case… lefty!

I kind of went fangirl last month at the #PilotPen booth. The guy gave me a new Dr. Grip (my favorite pen) and his business card. I reached out to thank him and also made a punny joke that I would love to pilot their new line of pens he mentioned coming soon. Today, I got a box full of pens.
