In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.

Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

I also note that neither the BALANCED nor the LIBERAL side agree that Johnson brought receipts. As if conservatives care about receipts / facts / proof, anymore? Are there conservatives who get excited about being fact-checked? Do they exist?

I guess you can’t really do “balanced” and include a complete quote from Johnson.

The original piece, written by a conservative activist I won’t credit, had a few quotes in it. The LIBERAL version by AI had the exact same quotes so I removed them to focus solely on rhetoric. I noted the BALANCED version (also AI) explained more a Johnson’s quote and truncated his actual quote.

The relative who posted the CONSERVATIVE version kept calling it “the whole interview” and a “transcript”. He said, “you get all in a tizzy just because I posted the whole interview to show what was completely said. Too funny.🤣🤣🤣”

He thinks commentary from a conservative activist is a transcript.

A friend’s relative left a comment on their post that was clearly written by AI for a conservative audience, so I had AI rewrite it for liberal and balanced audiences. Here’s a side by side comparison.
