A bygone glimpse of rural England, near the village of Butley, preserved in a Victorian photo album. The name of the girl is preserved in handwritten scrawl ‘Mary Ellen Urwin’ in conversation with a character named ‘Old Fawcett’!
Two fabulous churches, and both locked (on a Sunday)! They were at least striking from the outside.
