I bet we spend less on food for events per year than just one upper admin spends on "new AI-enabled software to unify classroom learning metrics while enhancing competitiveness and instructional excellence" or whatever buzzwords they get sold

is right. There probably not one font that works for every challenge we face. A font that makes things easier for people with dyslexia probably isn't the best for someone with low vision.

Also...TNR is the the only cool font. Unless Papyrus is available.

Fonts are fashion. Every statement about font X is good for Y will change a year or so later and be replaced with new dogma.

Heck, when I was in grad school, serif fonts were the *only* acceptable choice for scientific posters b/c they were more readable.

Until they weren't.

"Field Trip". Many are fun, of course. But the funnest one was in first grade when we went to a nature preserve with cool hippie interpreters and actual fields. Nothing has topped that since. And most don't even involve actual fields.

I cringe at this stuff. Especially the recent DoD stuff. When I worked for the EPA, I would have been fired if I had kept work emails on a private server like the Sec. of State did. And this newer stuff is just stuff you wouldn't get away with at a small college.
