When I had this in my brain, it felt mildly inspirational, but on reflection it makes me feel like a fortune cookie. Oh well. Go play pretend in your head anyway.

I should amend that. I also use Scrivener for my creative workflow. I haven’t had to export anything to a Word-compatible format though. I have used it to make a .mobi file to proofread on my Kindle, that’s about it.

I only use LibreOffice in my personal workflow. I do use Excel at work, but the company pays for that.

Ugh, do they tap tables to make that, or press them? Either way, sounds like it would taste unpleasant.

I feel like there is a parallel to innuendo here somewhere…. Something something not about how long it is or how often you can do it, but the quality of pleasure shared, or something.

I have a similar metric at the call center I work for, TTFE (time to first exposure) where an agent sees something explicit during a screen share session.

I think mine was somewhere between 2 and 4 weeks (it’s been years so not totally sure, just remember a “that didn’t take long” moment.)

I feel this event is more a statement on human cancel culture and their penchant for “emotionally-driven” responses and critiques — as opposed to rational research and discussion. When humans demonize anything, my response is to… just not care, regardless of cause, because it’s exhausting drama.

I was faffing around with Varia randomizer and managed to do a mockball (machball?) for the first time. Neat! I felt kinda proud. I’m very inconsistent with it, but I was able to do it a handful of times.

As we get into the holiday, just a reminder that if you are buying gift cards to check the package/card very carefully for signs of tampering and never trash the receipt — even if you give the card to someone else. Ideally, each card should have its own receipt kept with the card. Stay sharp!

The heck? Usually they just ask to see/scan the receipt, they don’t toss accusations. Humans, I swear…

One of these days I want to get into VR properly, likely just VRC, but a lot needs to come together for that for me. I am mostly looking for VTuber eye/face/hand tracking for now.
