Representative segmented trabecular bone compartments and THA surfaces for three subjects with THA. A variation in volume of Gruen zone 8 (anterior, shown in yellow), is noted for three subjects. A classification model could not be generated for Gruen zone 8 when the bone volume was below 2 cm3 as it prevented the generation of sufficient patches necessary for model creation.
