This lady on CNN right now is talking about the death of AOL Dial-Up and the other woman on the panel said her AOL handle was 'amidala-something'
We're not going to point out that this woman is/was a Padme Amidala fan (As we all should be)?

"Oh they work at Chipotle now," fast food or fast casual work is hard, that's not an insult. Pay them more.

And no, not all of us are from the "learn the code" era. Many of us are before and were sold
the lie of a STEM degree.
In this thread: many people who think every under-employed computer degree holder is a tech-jackass.
Many of us just want to make neat things and also do better by the world.
We know how many people have used technology to damage the world, and we don't like it either.
The gleeful smirking responses to this tell me we still have a long way to go before thereβs class solidarity or before thereβs anger directed at the actual problem.

My shortcuts for searching. When you make a search field your bookmark, you can shorthand a search with it.
Interesting.
I finally learned why Firefox took so long to get started when I closed the browser window;
Something about the profile I was using had a loooooooooot of data.
- 206 bookmarks, 190 which I never used.
I promise you theyβre all doing it. Perplexity was sloppy enough to get caught.

Keep the pressure on! Ensure statements convert to action. We must demand a stop to this genocide and a global recognition of the sovereign state of Palestine.π΅πΈ β€οΈ βπ½
LinkedIn is the worst of white collar work.
Seeing bigots have lucrative roles while you and your fellows who want inclusion and equity beg for survival kindles a deep anger within me.
Bluesky, Slack channels, all better options than LinkedIn.
With this course, I:
Attached a DB to Polyglot
Implemented firewall rules for a secure connection.
Used T-SQL snippets (Kind of like the boilerplate for Terraform and HTML)
Created a script to add .csv data to a Database
It's free for you, for a time.

Yahoo Mail is finally introducing inbox limits.
I have over 150,000 emails over about 19 years.
I've deleted about 4,000 today.
Perplexity is an app. You can use it.
I'm really selling you on it here aren't I?
Read this instead;

We told you people were being bombed on occupied land, and people thought the right move was to take away our income and livelihoods....because we didn't want people killed.
I think "We tried to tell you," Is the mildest thing we can say.
Thanks! I know with Terraform I had to often put things in a particular order or it couldn't call back.

It's 'the land of the free' until your ability to survive is taken away because you don't want your taxes going towards bombs.
I taught people how to apply to more jobs consistently, personally, and easily, with tools they already have - not using #AI

I put in a . and somehow it ended up in a secret directory.
I used docker cp to move it from my host machine to the container.
Seeing LinkedIn users finally, finally realize after what we've been telling them for 8 years about inclusion and diversity being good.
You won't have a country in 6 months but hey, you finally listened.
Let me just check on my applications for jobs and passport.
A little better with the database
