Huskies Continue to Bolster Blue Line After adding former Lindenwood defenseman Joe Prouty, new head coach Bill Muckalt has made yet another addition from his old program, securing a commitment from Prouty’s defensive partner, Jack Anderson.  Anderson possesses the kind of physical tools that coaches, scouts, and GMs dream of having in their lineups. Standing at 6’6” and being a plus skater, Anderson has a rare blend of length and mobility that allows him to eat up ice in transition and cover ground seamlessly.

He’s Back! Houghton, MI (June 4, 2025) - The following statement has been released today by Tech Hockey Guide with regards to Isaac Gordon’s future career plans: “He’s back.” Isaac Gordon has reneged on his commitment to the University of North Dakota and will instead withdraw from the transfer portal and return to Michigan Tech this fall. This is monumental news for Michigan Tech hockey.

MTU will play SCSU with series in 2026-27 and 2027-28. These will be the first meetings since March 2015 in Fargo. Their last trip to St Cloud was March 1-2, 2013 and SCSU’s last trip to Houghton was Feb. 24-25, 2012. Check out this week’s episodes for more from coach Muckalt.
