Will say, as overly drawn out the Knights of Guineviere discourse is, I can also understand how exhausting it can be from the perspective of a queer creator/potential creator. The Internet always comes down needlessly hard on queer creatives for minor reasons. And one potential queer creator is me.

And maybe I'm just overthinking it, but I get the feeling that one of the reasons why this controversy is so overblown is because some cis people (not all, but some) get weirdly reactionary when trans people do some jackass stuff. And that includes the nominal allies.

Then I moved on because, well, I thought Terrace was well-meaning and didn't really do anything wrong, but also I just don't really hang my hopes on media representation that a lot of queer people online do.

This is probably because I haven't really seen the posts upset at Dana Terrace (fyi I don't use Tumblr or Twitter), so this whole thing feels completely inconsequential to me. I heard of Dana Terrace's clarifications about Frankie being cis. I said "aw bummer, I thought she was trans."

I feel kind of exhausted by the Knights of Guineviere discourse, not because of people who are mad that Frankie isn't trans, but people who constantly feel the need to tell you how upset they are about the discourse.
