Just imagine if all these people spoke out against Trump. His legitimacy and in turn his power would evaporate instantly. Yet instead they have allowed Trump to leverage their cowardice to create the illusion of power. Its pathetic.

Everyone in a position of power or privilege who condemns Trump behind closed doors but won’t speak up publicly out of fear or reprisal is worthy of contempt. With great power comes great responsibility and they are shirking theirs.

Like this is total nonsense. How is his precious economy going to do if he puts every Democrat in jail? The country cannot function without us. It's total bluster. Don't fall for it. Don't obey in advance.

Perhaps Trump is lashing out from a position of desperation. His approval ratings are at a historic low and he lacks the mandate for these outlandish policies. He only has power if we give it to him - so don't! Show up, protest, resist. All dictatorships come to end eventually. This one will too.

What an absolute disgrace. As a trans alumna of #BrownUniversity, I am deeply ashamed of my alma mater. All they've done is signaled that their principles are up for negotiation, and the Trump administration will most certainly come back demanding more concessions.
