Today we officially announce Kexin Hao as The Hague’s new city illustrator for 2025. Hao takes over from Babette Wagenvoort and will depict our city in inspiring and surprising drawings. The first drawing will be published tomorrow in Den Haag Centraal. More info through the link in our bio!
On Saturday 8/3 from 17-20, ReteDonna Paesi Bassi and Nest present ‘Stitching Palestine’. In this film twelve women discussing their lives in Palestina and diaspora, and how they remain connected to their culture through embroidery. After the screening there will be a panel discussion. Free entry!
This Friday, Nest will host the ‘Haagse Vrouwendagen’, with a debate about hearing and being heard. Also, writer Devika Partiman will give a special lecture about the position of women in arts and politics.
