I went to a public school in the US ("state school") and had a young- earth creationist biology teacher who made us watch a video about how dinosaurs were there mythical dragons in folk tales.

My wife is often worried about my cycling in the city, and it's sad to acknowledge it's a reasonable fear. I hope the person is ok.

The closest I've been to Alex Honnald's calibre is putting my phone near the sink.

Everything seemed to work beforehand, but when I switched cameras, found it had stopped streaming. Back to the drawing board, I guess 🤷‍♂️

Today I am attempting a second camera for our online service. Could be a game-changer, one way or another 😱

I'm always worried about the loss of civic space, but recently thought about how the new square will be set as far away from traffic as possible, and that feels much safer. We also have experience going to 'hubs' in Salford, and feel a little better about the future of the library.

I have seen a few photos from when it first opened, and am sad at what's been lost over the years (though I've grown to appreciate the new plans)
