But then there's finding the remaining 23 and that is very painful as there's no way to check which ones you've unlocked without checking the location of every single one, personally.

The first 77 let you unlock 5 Canaria plushies at the Rachie Construction company at 3 levels, each of these plushies buff your exp gain, money gain, catching rate, megashard gain and amount you can be hit separately. You get the first tier for XP in the story.

The plushies are VERY useful.
