A photo depicting three bookmarks with decoupaged drawings of hooded, cloaked creatures - their faces are entirely covered by shadow and only their round glowing eyes are visible; they wear clothes in warm colors with tassels and fringes . Those are tiny nomads, beetle-like creatures I've made up some years ago.
Two wooden bookmark with decoupaged dotwork drawings made with black and red ink depicting hooded figures - one with a singular vertical eye under its hood, the other surrounded by tentacles.

21.04.2025 17:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Judging from the smell, one of the bands using rehersal room downstairs from my shop decided to play *real* stoner metal today.
04.04.2025 17:48 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0NSR is when a game itself is gay, OSR is when the people playing it are trans.
If a Cis person plays an OSR game it is a retro-clone.
If an NSR game isn't inherently gay- yes it is.
Hope that helps sorting things out!
Burial practices, from best to worst: 1. fungal coffin 2. regular natural burial 3. letting wild forest animals drag my bones 4. sky burial 5. cremation 6. regular western inhumation 7. tomb burial 8. intentional mummification (I'm ok and not dying any quicker than an average human rate afaik)
24.03.2025 14:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It's not a perfect solution but wet toilet paper / flushable wet wipes will usually do the job
24.03.2025 14:29 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0But hey, maybe in a few years CD players will get their nostalgia-fueled renaissance just like casette players did and you'll be able to stock up.
25.01.2025 00:13 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Interesting, I was almost convinced magnetic tapes are more durable than CDs (I know you're supposted to rewind them from time to time so they won't stick) and regretted giving away the last walkman I owned. cont.
25.01.2025 00:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Aren't you worried CDs will just kind of... desintegrate over time? (It was the reason I ultimately stopped buying them and half-heartedly switched to vinyls I never listen to anyway because it's too big of a hussle)
24.01.2025 23:51 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 02) Not sure if it's just my unability to addapt or the ultimate triumph of The Normie. It also hurts my tiny lil business because I honestly don't know how to get to new clients without doing all the stupid influencer shit or even worse, intentionally trying to encourage a parasocial relationship.
24.01.2025 23:46 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 01) ngl, to say my modern social media game is weak is to grossly undersell it. I guess being an extremely online teen / young adult from early 2000 to 2010s taught me all the wrong lessons while people disinterested in the back-then Internet culture (or just younger, let's be honest) are doing ok.
24.01.2025 23:45 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I feel really sorry for people in the US - and I also hate that the rest of the world will feel the consequences of this shitfuckery.

18.01.2025 16:08 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Finally got my copy of the Painted Wastelands yesterday, gonna start reading it this evening (I don't like reading PDFs and I never touch them before getting the physical book) + the dice set matches nicely the rest of my travel bag, and all of them match the cover @agamemnonpress.bsky.social
18.01.2025 15:56 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 1Why, don't you appreciate TRU GAMER AESTHETIC? (I'd recommend a vertical mouse, they're bitch to get used to but once you do they're awesome for your wrist. Plus, they haven't gotten invaded with obnoxious amounts of colorful LED lights yet)

Yesterday was the first freezing cold day of the season, and it even snowed a little bit. And I was elated as it had at least some semblance to the winters of not so long ago, with snow piled tall, and frost lasting from the late November to March. Solastalgia is a bitch.

I know there are people gaming with their parents (and also people my age+ getting their children into RPGs) but I always felt weird thinking about playing RPGs with my (now elderly) mother - I'm super happy I got her into board games though.

17.12.2024 17:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As far as popular/folk history goes, there was at least one late medieval battle won partially due to one side waiting in the full July sun for the attack (Grunwald).
