It doesn't matter whether people think you're "really" pro-life. Elective abortion is a human rights violation & we'll keep fighting it. No permission required, no approval needed.
An Indiana court ruled that RFRA allows religious exemptions to abortion laws, but could this decision put other vulnerable people at risk?

If we want useful convos, we should avoid telling people what they think, what they mean, or what motivates them. Think how irritating (and usually incorrect) it is when people do it to you. Bad tactic.
(We're not saying we're immune to this, just that it's worth resisting.)

"Don't like abortion? Don't get one" is the pro-choice equivalent of "Don't like abortion bans? Don't ban it." It entirely misses the foundational premises of the opposition's view. An ignorant, useless take.
Are you a pro-life atheist or agnostic?

PSA: when you suggest it's better to not be born than to experience foster care, the people who have experienced foster care can hear you.
When SPL talks about later abortion, we avoid the phrase "up until birth" and instead talk about abortion of viable babies. There's little evidence of abortions at e.g. 35-40 weeks, but lots of evidence of abortion after viability. (secularprolife.org/laterabortion)

When people say "abortion" they're talking about induced abortions, not miscarriages. I get the medical term for miscarriage is "spontaneous abortion." The adjective "spontaneous" is a critical qualifier. Natural deaths differ from purposeful killing, both ethically & legally.
Today we're in Seattle to present to pro-life doctors from across the country at the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists' annual conference.

Where possible it's important to let your pro-choice friends know you're pro-life. If you get along well, this knowledge alone inoculates people from believing the most absurd "anti-choice" stereotypes. Extremism is weakened by friendship.

Scene: Person next to you on a flight asks why you're traveling. You explain you're going to the March for Life. They say "I'd be more sympathetic if pro-life meant helping children once they're born too. Why fight for embryos but not care once they're here?" How do you respond?
Pro-choicers claim pregnancy resource centers ("fake clinics") just want to manipulate women out of getting abortions. But over half the women these centers serve weren't even considering abortion in the first place. PRCs still help them - why?
