Another example of why A.I. will never have anything on real artists.
More phenomenal work here, as always.
You got this, friend. ๐
Petition to change the term โAI Artistโ to โAI Prompt Specialistโ
Long ass day yesterday. Came home, ate something, talked to my wife for 30 minutes, passed out.
Here we go again.
May the coffee gods be forever in your favour today, friends. โ๏ธ
14.5 hours. Still going.
Oi vey.
Donโt know how some of you moโfoโs pull 12 hour shifts on the regular.
Shitโs for the birds. And still two hours to go.
Hope youโre playing something fun tonight!
Missed opportunity.
Spending less and less time on socials these days. Bluesky, Discordโฆeverything.
Nothingโs wrong. Everythingโs fine. Just not a priority like it used to be.
Time passes, things evolve, and sometimes thatโs enough.
Hope youโre well, friends.
I'm too old to know what that means.
And I don't think I want to know.
I have had some of these types of dreams before too. That's amazing. ๐
Funny how it sticks with you in dreams though, eh? I have dreams of being late for school, something bad happening at an old job...
The mind is a wild, wild place.
I already have Friday off. Might need to take Thursday too.
The less I can spend working in this lifetime, the better. ๐
Huh. I can't seem to post images anymore.
Well, I can. But they don't show up. Just...black.
Weird.
So...it makes me wonder if this console is even worth keeping, or if I should package it up and send it to a good home for a collector who is just happy to have 'everything'.
Either way...I loved the Wii U, and it's a shame more people (including Nintendo) didn't give it more love.
There may be some games that take advantage of the game pad, but by and large, the entire library (or most of the games) have been ported to the Switch or other platforms. I haven't done a heavy search, but I can't think of anything worth playing that was stranded on the system.
I had such a great experience with the Wii U, and never listened to those who said it was awful. I really enjoyed it.
But turning it on today and browsing the library, I thought, "Is there any real reason to own a Wii U anymore?"
I bought the Wii U right as I was really starting to return to video games as a hobby for the first time in a long time. I loved this console. I spent lots of time playing some great games. Super Luigi U...3D World...Shovel Knight...Child of Light...Treasure Tracker...NES Remix...
First, it's a shame more people never hopped on board the Wii U train. At the time, I get people saw it as an under powered system that didn't have third party support, and you wouldn't be wrong for thinking that.
But first party Nintendo games in HD for the first time was amazing.
Fired up the Wii U this morning, just to confirm it still worked. And, YES! It does. I've read horror stories of Wii U's kinda kickin' the bucket if they've been powered off for awhile. That was definitely the case with mine.
Anyways, I started looking through the library, and a couple of thoughts:
Shelving Tales of Symphonia. Not as grabbing as Iโd hoped and the gameplay isnโt enjoyable. Not for me, anyways.
Iโve been frozen in indecision. So going back to the gaming roots.
Going to start A Link to the Past today and weโll see where it goes. #SNES
I think the bigger issue is that the actions being taken today aren't viewed as mistakes by those making them.
Hot coffee and an open schedule.
Day is off to a good start.
Have a great one, kids!

I really should try and play more RE games. Outside of the first two, I've never really played many others in the franchise.
I did this, got fired, and now I'm unemployed.
But I DID have a swell time with NFL Blitz, so at least there's that. ๐๐ฎ
We'll make you an honouary Canadian. Then you can just go with .ca for PENNIES on the dollar!
CAN'T. WAIT. ๐ฅฐ
