If someone is dedicated enough to make these they can make a difference. Although i started playing in S3, Wadsms Guide playlist from S2 helped me so much when it comes to how to approach the game, basic tips and mentality.

It should not do the job on it's own. Marking is good and getting an (in)direct is even better or a kill at most sure, but machine has a slow TTK and shouldn't fight rollers alone all the time, especially in close combat

Yeah because saying "depends on your goals in comp", but isn't the main goal for everyone "becoming better"? Because for some it's not, but those probably just play LI and other skill capled tourneys or only DSB and to those my Statements doesn't apply, but to the average player it does

If you actively play comp in tournaments etc, especially open level, you will reach your limit with every weapon, no one in high level really one tricks a weapon but rather has preferences to weapon classes/weapons

Looking at lfg on sendouink i'd say EU is in it's worst state ever rn, sure there are some teams here and there but besides BL i wouldn't call any of them top level although i see potential from some teams (Cherry Wave, BlankZ for example)

Hardcore Onetricking a Weapon in comp is stupid if you want to grind because every weapon reaches it's limit, whether it's the meta shifting or the weapon itself just not having more potential than you are squeezing out

Isn't that a problem in both EU & NA? That there are too many tournaments at the same time? And doesn't NA also have a consistent zones only?

Of course it's fine to play skill capped, i just dislike the fact that there are so many of those tourneys because they wont create better players on the long run, i mean we barely got new high/top level players in Splat 3 compared to Splat 2

The skill cap doens't differentiate it enough imo, if more low level players would compete in Triton they would have a good experience and losing against better players helps improvement imo because you can clearly observe what went wrong, but i'm aware that my opinion might be controversial

Two tournaments with barely any differences being hosted at the same time, and if i would want to complain more: too many low level capped tournaments
