When I was a kid your age, my parents made me wear a yoke to carry their loads (through the snow, uphill, both ways), but I was grateful.

Shout out to @lammcs.ca for creating their deshitified alternative to Faceborg.
Here's hoping they can do for Faceborg what BlueSky has done for Xitter.

There is a new social media platform out there that might do to Facebook, what Bluesky is doing to Twitter.
Check out Hey.Cafe.
No adverts, no algorithms, no schlock. Just posts from your friends and groups.
See you over there...
hey.cafe/@hey
Remember the early days of Faceborg where the only posts you saw were from your family, and friends instead of the non-stop rubbish pushed by Zuck?
Now there is a very new site that is growing fast. I think this has potential for shifting a lot of users over.
Checkitout

Gray Jays. Like Blue Jays but Gray?
Can you tell I don't know much about birds?
I eventually learned that these little cuties are called Chickadees.

Hey @archaeopteryx2.bsky.social do you know what kind of flying creature this is?
They seem to be quite comfortable eating out of people's hands
It was 15km, and over 400M of vertical. This view nearly killed me but it was so worth it.
This is the bay that Doc was always talking about when reminiscing about his old job at the Papermill.
Hidden view of The Lion's Gate.
I managed to catch a glimpse of the Lions through the trees on my hike today.

Same here. Cholesterol must be on a break or something, because he looks like he is constantly on the verge of stroking out.
I'm heading out for a hike over the mountains today. It will take my mind off all the dumpster fires burning around me.
Also, it's a hell of a hike. What doesn't kill me should make me stronger.
Happy!

Highlands.
This looks like a massive hike, but it is only a 1 hour moderate climb to get to this ridge. But the view is amazing.

He looks kinda like that Mason Verger character from Hannibal Lecter except they did a better job of rebuilding his face.
Imagine spending your final days in a decaying orbit around the moon (as one of the better case situations).
What would they even teach in anti-woke university. White Pride? Replacement theory? Support your local Klan? (because they are mostly made up of your friends and neighbours anyway).
I took this photo the morning I decided after 25 years of living overseas that it was finally time to come home.
No regrets.
Not surprising since the anti-woke are uneducated.
What would they need a university for?
This is the view from Patricia Lake looking back towards the gondola. Jasper is the one place I've been where I felt like I could truly leave all my problems behind me.
Endless horizon.
The view from the gondola across Patricia Lake, and Pyramid Lake to Pyramid mountain.
I always tell people asking about Canada that if they visit this area they have seen the best Canada has to offer.

Icefields Parkway in Alberta. My favourite road to drive on.

Yeah, but that would require someone brave enough to inflict a slew.
I'd settle for him choaking out on a hamberder while everyone stands around and tells him to heimlich himself.
Now that would be the virulest of viral videos.
He will probably treat them to hamberders like he did with the Football Team.
Yeah but Americans are exceptional, and the president is exceptionalest. Bigliest even.
It is a great place to ski. In a good season they get a minimum of 10cm of fresh powder every day.
I took my wife there for her first experience seeing snow. It was 4M deep!
I'm guessing a lot of photographers will answer, "it depends".
I mostly do landscape photography, so my go-to mode is Aperture Priority combined with spot metering for my best results.
