I picked up Banjo Pilot for the GBA only recently - never played it when younger - it's a great kart racer, the controls are a great twist on the genre and it looks gorgeous on the gba. Definitely one of the better additions to my collection!

Just been playing Earthion on switch. It's good fun! I'm not usually a fan of horizontal shmups, but this is a fun time with a load of great design touches. Easy mode is very nicely balanced too. Perfect arcade vibe!! #shmups

Completed Death Stranding 2 yesterday... I really enjoyed pottering around with the deliveries, but I don't think I've ever played something with such bad writing, structure and direction. Such as shame as it could of been an classic.

I think it was a firmware issue with the Analogue Pocket. I updated it from 2.0 to 2.5 and now the cart is working perfectly!!

Just experienced my first cartidge that doesn't work properly with the #AnaloguePocket, but works perfectly fine on original devices (Gameboy SP and Micro) "Invader". Glad I double checked before faffing around with doing a return! [crashes towards the end of level 1] #retrogaming #gameboy

Some new additions. Never played Denki Blocks before, but heard good things. Plus two #shmups, Phalanx + Invader. Phalanx feels pretty standard but decent. Invader is gorgeous and more my vibe, but keeps crashing half way through the first mission! Will clean pins and hope to fix it! 🤞 #retrogaming

Had an MRI for the first time today (for a running injury). Those machines are quite ominous to be inside! Sounded like being in a giant dot-matrix printer. Trying like crazy to stay perfectly still!😅😅😅 Also quite funy that this futuristic machine was housed inside a random portacabin!

At least it’s nicer than the current ‘DRAWERS IF CHAOS’ system 🤣
