NAIDOC week is nearing it’s end but that doesn’t mean that we should stop highlighting the incredible Aboriginal people who’s land we stand on today. This year marks the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC week, and incredible milestone.

We loved being able to highlight so many community members from WACCH during this month and hope to be able to do something similar next pride month as well!! What incredible creators we have in our community 🏳️‍🌈

velorinavamp is a bisexual/demiromantic twitch streamer who we usually see in her vtuber form. Vel is a variety gamer, specialising in indie RPGs with an an emphasis on storytelling! This vampire vtuber is previously from America but has now settled in Western Australian

As someone who is from a Malaysian background but now lives in Perth, Gia notes that this is somewhat due to her background and how strict her family can be, which I'm sure a variety of our community members can definitely relate to

She identifies as Queer and demisexual, stating that she's "never really had a "coming out" moment but I'm still proudly queer and a demisexual person in a healthy and loving relationship"
