Finally started playing Hollow Knight (the OG). I am 10 hours in and I've just found the main quest line.

Today's win: dropped into the shops on the way home and found not one, not two, but THREE packets of Timtams on clearence for $1 each. Only 2 weeks the wrong side of their best before as well.

I can tell I'm starting to get a bit more traction in the content creator space because I've had a few emote artists follow me on Instagram.

This genuninely angers me. R-Truth is one of the best things in wrestling. I really wanted him to beat his childhood hero the other week. It's the only fitting end to that storyline I will accept.

So I had an interesting thought today. This year was the first time since John Howard that Australia has elected the same Prime Minister twice.

Howard was elected to his fourth term in October 2009. Since then we've had single election winning PMs until Albanese just recently.

I've appreciated the slow burn. It's how the Empire would have operated, slowly turn the public to get what they want. The time jumps have helped with that, I'm just not a fan of them in general.

At least they haven't done the trope of flashbacks to something that happened in during the time jump.

I'm not a huge fan of the 1 year time jumps every 3 episodes of Andor, but getting 3 episodes every week is pretty mint.

Although that does mean this this week is the last set of 3 episodes 😢

My favourite thing when watching people play Super Mario Maker 2 troll levels is "There is no way I need to do the thing" only to walk passed the thing and realise "I need to do the thing"

Couple of thoughts about Mario Kart World Direct (other than it looks amazing)

I'm coaching for the first time (junior field hockey) and I'm nervous as hell about it, especially when a parent emailed me for feedback on why their child was selected for the 2nd team.

To say this response has boosted my confidence is an understatement.

How is this a worthy sacrifice though? Does reading/installing from a cart detract so much from the Switch 2 experience that they force you to download some games?

There was so much good stuff in that Nintendo Direct for the Switch 2! But all I could think was that I need to start a GoFundMe to buy this man a jacket that fits.

Bowling For Soup's 1985 came out in 2004. It's longer between then and now than it was between 1985 and 2004.

Went to my first hockey training session of the year. It was mainly running and somehow the thing I strained is my elbow.

It's always scaring playing absorbing games at night. When will I go to bed? On time? After midnight? Thursday week? Who knows?

I've been rewatching Futurama and I just got up to Jurassic Bark. Obviously I am not ok.
